The waterfront — tables and chairs along Sandusky Bay are yours to use, and Tique's Bar is steps away while it's open for the season.
Rooms 1–6 face the water; Rooms 7–12 sit on the quiet courtyard side. Several rooms have two queen beds and sleep up to four; two waterfront rooms connect for two-person crews.

Monthly Stay Questions
What does $1,100 a month include?
Everything: the furnished room, electric, heat and air conditioning, water, high-speed WiFi, fresh linens and towels, access to the on-site laundry room, an optional room refresh every two weeks, free parking at your door, and use of the waterfront seating. There's a $500 refundable deposit. No application fees, no utility bills, no surprises.
Is there a kitchen?
Each room has a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, plus dishes and a dining table — but no stove or oven. Rayz on the Bay is a two-block walk, and downtown Sandusky's restaurants are 10 minutes away.
How long can I stay?
Minimum 30 nights, then month-to-month. Monthly stays are available through spring; all monthly stays end by June 1, when The Cedar returns to nightly summer bookings.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in every room — just tell us about them on the inquiry form.
Do you work with travel nurse agencies and housing coordinators?
Yes. We can provide a W-9, direct billing, and blocks of rooms for crews. Two of our waterfront rooms connect, which works well for two-person teams. Housing coordinators: email hello@stayatthecedar.com and we'll send a photo pack and rate sheet.
How do I book a monthly stay?
Send the inquiry form or text (419) 515-2729. We confirm availability, email you a screening invitation (credit, background, and eviction check — $44.99, paid by the applicant), send a simple month-to-month agreement to sign online, and email your personal door code for move-in day. No front desk — you let yourself in.
Is there an application fee?
The only cost is the $44.99 tenant screening fee, paid directly to the screening service when you complete the check — we don't add anything on top, and there's no fee to inquire. Results usually come back within a few hours. If a company is booking and paying for its crew, the company signs the agreement instead and individual screening isn't needed; we can provide a W-9.
